Sunday, March 18

Theft: At 10:03 a.m., Redmond police took a report of a stolen vehicle with a known suspect in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast downtown.

Burglary: At 11:15 a.m., Redmond police responded to a reported burglary at a storage unit facility in the 8700 block of Willows Road in the Grasslawn neighborhood.

Theft: At 2:51 p.m., Redmond police investigated the robbery of a cab driver with a knife in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: At 1:10 a.m., Redmond police arrested a juvenile in the 2100 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, March 17

Marijuana: At 11:38 p.m., two juvenile males were arrested in the 12900 block of Northeast 8th Street for possession. Both were released to parents.

Malicious mischief: At 6:54 p.m., Redmond police took a malicious mischief report in the 18300 block of Redmond Way downtown. There is no suspect info.

Assault: At 1:09 p.m., Redmond police responded to a simple assault between adult sisters in the 17100 block of Northeast 92nd Street. The involved party left the area possibly in a vehicle.

Burglary: At 12:12 a.m., Redmond police investigated in which a former boyfriend entered a victim’s apartment in the 18600 block of Redmond Way downtown without permission while simultaneously violating a no contact order.

Friday, March 16

Burglary: Redmond police responded to a report for an attempted burglary at 5:39 p.m. from an apartment complex in the 9800 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill. The glass patio door was shattered.

Swindle: At 11:46 a.m., it was reported that a mentally disabled woman in the 9800 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill is allegedly being brainwashed by a family member and being financially exploited. Suspect has persuaded the victim to become a prostitute and is possibly funneling money from her account.

Theft: At 8:36 a.m., it was reported that suspects removed a black bolted water container and stole 10 pounds of copper wire 100 block of Northeast 122 Street on Education Hill.
