Wednesday, Dec. 9

Alcohol and drugs: An adult male was contacted as a result of a single vehicle traffic collision, in the 5100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway. He was arrested for DUI due to his level of alcohol consumption. Another man was arrested during a traffic stop in the 12900 block of Northeast 85th Street, after police discovered the man had several outstanding warrants and possessed marijuana.

Medical call: Redmond police responded to an AED medical call at a residence in the 6900 block of Old Redmond Road and determined that the elderly resident had passed away of natural causes.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

Clothes thief: Someone stole two jackets and a pair of pants from a store in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street.

Rentals stolen: Redmond Police responded to a reported auto theft of two rental vehicles in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Monday, Dec. 7

Strongarm robbery: A man reported that someone stole his backpack, which contained a camera, while he was walking on the Sammamish Trail in the 17000 block of Northeast 111th Street.

Vehicle theft: A vehicle was stolen from a business in the 5000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Monopoly money: Someone purchased merchandise from an auto parts store in the 17100 block of Redmond Way with a counterfeit bill. There is no suspect information.

Sunday, Dec. 6

False alarm: Redmond Police responded to a domestic violence report in the 4000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway where a woman reported she was struck in the head. There was no evidence of an assault and the victim’s story appeared false, according to the police report. No arrests were made.

Car prowl: A woman had her purse stolen from her vehicle, which was parked in the 14600 block of Northeast 81st Street.

Vandalism: Redmond Police arrested two suspects for breaking windows at a church in the 9000 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, Dec. 5

Grab and go: The victim went to a business in the 3000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast to sell the suspect a laptop. After the victim showed the laptop, the suspect grabbed it and ran off, escaping on foot. The suspect was unknown to the victim.

Mail theft: An unemployment check was stolen from an unsecured mailbox in the 10600 block of 181st Avenue Northeast and cashed.

Friday, Dec. 4

Hit and run: Redmond Police investigated a hit and run in the 100 block of Old Redmond Road. The victim said he was struck from behind by a vehicle while stopped at a red light. The victim provided a partial license plate, but had no other suspect information.

Window smashed: A bottle was thrown through the window of a residence in the 4600 block of 159th Avenue Northeast.

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after being verbally aggressive towards another man and causing a disturbance in a business park in the 16500 block of Redmond Way.

Thursday, Dec. 3

Theft: A man’s iPod was stolen from the men’s locker room of a gym in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast.

Shoplifting: Redmond Police arrested a boy after he was seen putting unpurchased clothing in his backpack. He was later released to his mother.
