Wednesday, April 6

DUI: At around 2 a.m., Redmond police arrested a 50-year-old man for investigation of DUI after several citizens called 911 to report his aggressive driving.

Tuesday, April 5

Theft: At 9:14 p.m., Redmond police investigated a car prowl at a parking garage in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast, where one of the vehicle’s windows was smashed and a backpack, containing clothes, was stolen.

Missing GPS: At 6:24 p.m., a woman reported that a GPS unit was missing from her rental car, which was parked overnight at a hotel in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway Northeast.

Monday, April 4

Theft: Two front seats and steering wheel were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8100 block of 149th Place Northeast.

Hot wheels: Four snow tires were stolen from a residence in the 17300 block of Northeast 70th Street.

Sunday, April 3

Car prowls: There were four reported car prowls in Redmond. The first one was in the 21700 block of Novelty Hill Road. The second one was in the 7000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast, where the driver’s side window was smashed and a wallet — located in plain sight — was stolen. The third one was in the 16000 block of Northeast 85th Street and the fourth one was in the 16600 block of Northeast 122nd Street.

Wrong way: A 30-year-old man was arrested at 2:02 a.m. for investigation of DUI after he was pulled over for driving the wrong direction in the 16700 block of Redmond Way.

Saturday, April 2

Shoplifting: There were four reports of shoplifting and police arrested the suspect in three of the incidents. A boy was arrested for shoplifting from a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. A transient man was arrested for shoplifting at a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. Another person was arrested for stealing from a business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. In the fourth incident, police responded to the shoplift call in the 16300 block of Redmond Way, but the suspect was already gone.

Friday, April 1

Bicycle theft: A bicycle was stolen from the transit station in Overlake on Northeast 40th Street.
