ORIGINAL STORY:

Redmond police are currently searching for Lidia Ly, a 71-year-old woman who suffers from dementia and requires medication.

Ly walked away from her home in the Lion’s Gate apartments at 15800 N.E. 84th Way around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. This is the block of apartments just north of Staples/QFC/Trader Joe’s.

She is 5 feet tall, 140 pounds, with grayish brown hair. She speaks only Spanish and was last seen wearing a pink/yellow pajama top and is likely wearing one brown slipper and one fur-lined brown boot.

Ly may be in a downtown business, or further from downtown, as she is physically mobile.

“Please keep an eye out for her and ask other employees and neighbors to look around,” police say.

Call 911 if you have seen her. Police have just issued a Silver Alert as well.
