Together Center hosts ‘Together Strong’ fundraising breakfast

Redmond’s Together Center is hosting its third annual fundraising breakfast at 7:30 a.m. March 24 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The event is named “Together Strong” after the benefit of strength in numbers that agencies and their clients experience at the center.

The community is invited to the free event, but a minimum donation of $125 is encouraged. Registration may be made at www.togethercenter.org/events. The Hyatt Regency Bellevue is located at 900 Bellevue Way. Parking is complimentary. For more information, call Together Center at (425) 869-6699.

Together Center is home to 22 health, housing and human service agencies serving more than 28,000 people each year from at the campus. More than 35 Eastside cities are served.

“Among our speakers will be Kent Hay, City of Redmond’s Homeless Outreach Specialist,” Together Center CEO Pam Mauk said. “He will share experiences in helping people reach their full potential and the important role played by agencies working together.”

One of the first nonprofit multi-tenant centers in the nation, Together Center was designed first and foremost to lower barriers to finding help. Where east King County residents once needed to travel from Bothell to Renton or beyond to find help at individual locations, people from throughout the Eastside now find comprehensive assistance at one location in downtown Redmond.

Services include medical and dental care, youth shelter, child care assistance, youth and family counseling, supports for disabilities and more.

Together Center is located at 16225 N.E. 87th St. in Redmond.
