Volunteers are needed for community build days to help construct the new playground equipment at Lake Sammamish State Park.

Dates are Aug. 24-26. Both half-day and full-day volunteers are needed, and people can sign up for one or more days. About 15 volunteers per day are needed, especially those that are familiar with basic power tools.

Volunteers must be 18 or older. Lunch will be provided.

Site work for the all-accessible $1.1 million playground is already complete, short of the landscape planting. Sidewalks are all in and foundations for the equipment will be done before the community build.
