You can count on them — RMS Math Team wins fourth place in state level MathCounts event

The Redmond Middle School Math Team won fourth place in the state-level MathCounts event held at Microsoft on March 21. Team members are Rene Yu (eighth grade), Matthew He (eighth grade), Pranav Vaid (eighth grade) and Ananya Jain (seventh grade).

The Redmond Middle School Math Team won fourth place in the state-level MathCounts event held at Microsoft on March 21. Team members are Rene Yu (eighth grade), Matthew He (eighth grade), Pranav Vaid (eighth grade) and Ananya Jain (seventh grade).

Yu won third place in the individual MathCounts State level, and advanced to MathCounts State Team. Yu and three other students from other school districts are going to represent Washington state to compete at MathCounts Nationals in Boston this May.
