The Overlake School will have a singles player and two doubles teams competing at this weekend’s double-elimination Class 2B/1B/1A state tennis tournament this weekend.

Senior Tyrm Torvund will take on Justin Wargo of Lacrosse-Washtucna in a first-round matchup Friday at the Yakima Tennis Center.

The Overlake boys’ doubles team of sophomore Bob Gardner and senior Ethan Hayden and the girls’ doubles team of junior Emily Walter and senior Caroline Spencer will also begin their state run on Friday at Yakima Tennis Center.
