Redmond High’s Chen dives to fourth at 3A state meet

Redmond High’s Allison Chen placed fourth in the 3A state diving championship on Saturday at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way. She amassed 354.85 points in the 1-meter competition.

Redmond swimming results:

Katelyn Harper took 10th in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:12.48. She also took 11th in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:15.16.

Michelle Yang took 11th in the 100-yard freestyle in 54.15.

The 400-yard freestyle relay took 11th in 3:43.52 and consisted of Claire Wu, Emily Whelan, Anamika Nanda and Yang.

The 200-yard medley relay took 12th in 1:56.03 and consisted of Wu, Nanda, Whelan and Olivia Duco.

Wu took 12th in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.90.

The 200-yard freestyle relay took 15th in 1:43.56 and consisted of Whelan, Wu, Duco and Yang.

Redmond placed 12th in the team standings.
