Traffic cameras curb erratic driving behavior

If you don’t want to be ticketed for running red lights, then don’t run them! If you don’t want the ticket fee to go to the city (which can certainly use it), then don’t violate the law. How often I have wished for a policeman at every corner where the lights are regularly run on red, often by two or three cars.

I agree with the three letters to the editor in last week’s Redmond Reporter about traffic enforcement cameras.

How hard is this?

I am grateful for cameras that can do the job and stop, or at least ticket for, this dangerous habit of people running red lights.  Maybe crossing an intersection on green will actually become safe.
