Redmond’s Wulff takes 12th at state | Prep cross country

Redmond’s boys finished ninth in the team standings. Gig Harbor took first.

Other members of the Redmond boys team were Michael Schach, Joel Keddie, Kyle Nickum, Jacob Montiel-Bravo, Dylan York and Alex Chen.

On the Redmond girls’ side, Emma Bury (18:38) placed 20th.

Overlake

Overlake’s Jack Toland placed 17th at 1A state in 16:50.

Fellow Owls Cole Tsang and Peri Wallent also competed at state.

Bear Creek

Bear Creek’s Angela Tzen took 33rd at 1A state with a personal-best time of 20:36.

A newcomer to the sport, she joined the team two weeks into the season.
