As part of the City of Redmond’s effort to rewrite its zoning code, the city will host its final drop-in Open Office Event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 in the Trestle Room on the first floor of Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th St. The purpose of rewriting the city’s zoning code is to improve the clarity, conciseness and predictability of the code for all users.
A $10,000 reward fund has been established by the Arson Alarm Foundation and the Washington Insurance Council for information about a series of suspicious fires which have recently occurred in the Union Hill and Trilogy areas of unincorporated Redmond (King County).
King County Metro Transit is ready to roll out the first of its six RapidRide lines, along with other new bus routes, and schedule and routing adjustments. All are part of Metro’s fall service change that begins Saturday, Oct. 2.

Together Center, formerly known as Family Resource Center in Redmond, has reported that more than 67,000 people were served at the center last year, an increase of 25,000 people seeking help over the previous year. Of those, 6,823 were residents of Redmond.
